In this Rembrandt edition, the confraternity text was used for the entire New Testament and for those portions of the Old Testament now available, the Book of Genesis through the Book of Ruth and the book of Job through the Book of Sirach. The Douay test was used for the rest of the Old Testament. It was annotated and edited by the Rev. Myles M. Bourke who prepared The Chronological Tables. The editorial supervision was under the direction of Rev. John Harrington, Librarian at St. Joseph's Seminary, Yonkers, NY.
